HVACR Training Specialist

The HVAC/R Instructor is a full-time, exempt position at New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) where you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of HVAC/R technicians.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team as an Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students in practical applications regarding HVAC/R Technology, ensuring they are properly trained and ready to accept entry-level employment as service technicians within the HVAC/R industry.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct classes and labs in the HVAC/R Technician program, utilizing the approved NETTTS curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, answering practical questions from students.
- Administer and grade tests, enter test scores as instructed by the Chief HVAC/R Instructor.
- Present lab tasks fully using the prescribed program outline provided by NETTTS.
- Prepare lab areas for instruction, maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Record student attendance and enter attendance as instructed by the Chief HVAC/R Instructor.
- Stay up-to-date with technical and equipment changes/improvements in the HVAC/R industry.
- Participate in meetings with other instructors and staff members.
- At least 3 years' experience as a licensed HVAC/R technician.
- Demonstrated passion for training the next generation of HVAC/R technicians.
- A competitive salary range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year.
