Nurse Lead

MedNorth Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Lead to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse Lead will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and attention. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and attention.
- Assist in the supervision of nursing staff, including input for performance reviews and corrective action plans as needed.
- Oversee and train new and existing staff, working closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure that all staff members are equipped to provide exceptional patient care.
- Assist with patient visits and triage, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.
- Review charts, labs, and encounter forms for completeness and to assess follow-up as needed.
- Provide nurse scheduling and task assignment as needed, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with clinic staff on programs to improve patient outcomes, using data and evidence-based practices to inform decision-making.
- Assist in organizing and participating in quality improvement activities, using the PDSA model to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Perform other administrative tasks and clinical care as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Chief Medical Officer.
- Licensed as an RN in the State of North Carolina.
- Three years of experience working in a healthcare facility.
- Current BCLS certification; American Heart or American Red Cross HealthCare provider only.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical background and experience in a leadership role.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Five years' experience in healthcare facility; experience working in a FQHC/CHC or similar organization.
- Bilingual preferred with cultural sensitivity necessary to work with a diverse patient and staff population.
MedNorth Health Center provides comprehensive health care services, inside a multi-cultural medical/dental clinic, to all individuals; insured, uninsured, and underinsured. The building is heated in winter and air conditioned in the summer with noise levels of moderate to loud. We serve patients who speak multiple languages and who may need the assistance of an interpreter.
