Key Responsibilities

  • Automate the setup, configuration, and upkeep of our platform services.
  • Play a vital role in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
  • Lead the design and execution of internal development tools.
  • Oversee the design and establishment of our security framework to ensure compliance with ITAR regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to support network, security, and virtual server infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps or a related field, emphasizing automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS/GovCloud, and Apollo.
  • Experience in building applications.
  • Familiarity with maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions with shell, Python, and YAML scripts.
  • Proficient with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking principles.
  • Experience in coding with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Python, Java, C#/.NET, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Experience using Conan & CMake for C++ project builds.
  • Familiarity with software ticketing and bug-tracking systems like JIRA or Linear.
  • Self-motivated developers who can operate with a high degree of autonomy, lead projects, and make informed technical decisions.
  • Advocates for code quality and best practices, willing to set high standards for their team and diligently uphold them.
  • Continuous learners who embrace new technologies, assess their advantages and disadvantages, and strive for a deep understanding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ITAR Compliance.
  • Experience in integrations and API optimization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in early-stage startups.
  • Background in manufacturing or related industries.
