Role Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for executing PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures while adhering to departmental standards and current practices. This position requires independent judgment and initiative, with a strong focus on radiation safety protocols. The technologist will work autonomously, interacting primarily with patient care staff and occasionally with patients, families, and physicians.

Qualifications
  • Preferred: BA or BS degree in a science or health care-related field
  • Certification: CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent, with registry eligibility and exam completion within one year of employment
  • State Certification: Must be certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
  • Preferred: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT)
  • Desirable: Previous experience in computerized tomography
