Job Overview

RER Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Home Inspector to join our team on various private military housing inspection projects nationwide. As a Home Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough property inspections, evaluating deficiencies, and providing detailed reports.

Responsibilities
  • Perform residential or commercial property inspections according to provided guidelines
  • Follow inspection procedures for onsite inspection of systems and components of existing homes
  • Walk the exterior and interior of homes, accessing and inspecting unfinished spaces
  • Evaluate home deficiencies, including site issues, building materials, health and human safety items, and physical and structural conditions
  • Complete inspection checklists and requisition reporting
  • Address client concerns and provide detailed descriptions
Requirements
  • Minimum of US Citizenship required for client site access clearance
  • 4-6 years of experience in residential or commercial construction
  • Experience in building inspection and code compliance
  • Licenses in architecture, engineering, or general contracting
  • International Code Council Certification (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent time and task management skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Must be able to travel
  • Valid Driver's License
Education/Certification

Bachelor's in Architecture or related field (NAAB and/or CACB accredited)

Home Inspection License or Certification

InterNachi Certification
