About This Role
Utah Testing and Engineering is actively seeking a Special Inspector to enhance our dynamic team in the field of construction quality assurance. This position is essential for supporting our operational objectives and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your Contributions:
The Special Inspector plays a pivotal role in delivering both strategic and operational assistance to service center managers across the organization.
- Conduct special inspections as designated and within certified areas
- Maintain all relevant certifications and those acquired during employment
- Complete inspection and testing report forms diligently
- Submit all reports at the conclusion of each shift
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and submit monthly vehicle reports
- Assist in training and reporting for technicians
- Perform ACI Level 1 testing as required
- Conduct compaction testing as necessary
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified candidates should possess ICC Reinforced Concrete and/or Structural Masonry, and/or ACI Level II certification, along with a valid State of Utah DOPL license.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability and willingness to expand their skill set and obtain certifications for ICC Prestressed Concrete Special Inspector, Spray Applied Fire Proofing, and Structural Steel/Bolting.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory, along with the capability to maintain a company vehicle.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is required.
