Prenatal Healthcare Provider
Covenant Health Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Prenatal Healthcare Provider to join our team at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. This individual will work closely with obstetricians/gynecologists to deliver high-risk babies and improve pregnancy outcomes for mothers 35 years or older, with multiples, pregnancy complications, history of birth defects, and medical problems such as diabetes or hypertension.
Job Description: As a Prenatal Healthcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients throughout their pregnancy journey. This includes utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment, managing pain through epidural and patient-controlled analgesia administration, assisting physicians during delivery, treatment, examination, and surgical procedures, and educating patients and families on labor, pain, and newborn care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care to pregnant women and new mothers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement plans of care that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements: A minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience is required. Must possess a Tennessee State RN license and CPR certification. ACLS, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring, and NRP certifications are also necessary.
Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $83,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
