The *Main Tower Operating Room* at Inova Health System is seeking a committed *Lead Surgical Technologist* to guide our exceptional team. Role Overview:
The Lead Surgical Technologist serves as a clinical leader and resource within an Inova Operating Room (OR). Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the OR Service Leader in ensuring compliance with quality, safety, regulatory standards, and JCAHO requirements.
  • Assisting in the analysis of performance data and fostering adherence to established performance benchmarks.
  • Utilizing clinical expertise to assess staff learning needs and readiness.
  • Ensuring all surgical technologist qualifications are met, including certification and registration requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) via NCCT.
  • Current Surgical Technologist registration is required.
  • Eligibility for Surgical Technologist registration in Virginia at the time of hire, with completion required within six months.
