About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Hearthstone at Murrayhill. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, in accordance with their individual service plans.
  • Encourage and support residents in maintaining their independence, while preserving their dignity and promoting a sense of community.
  • Provide prompt and responsive care, including escorting residents to dining areas and activities, and observing and reporting changes in their physical condition or behavior.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery and participate in projects, in-services, or committees as assigned.
  • Assist in training new staff and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum age 18.
  • Computer skills and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to stand/walk up to eight hours per day and lift/push up to 50 pounds.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to use good body mechanics for sustained periods.
