Job RequirementsAmeritex Machine and Fabrication is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join its fast-paced team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal components using various equipment and techniques.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth. If you have 2-5 years of experience in welding and fitting, and are skilled in reading engineering drawings, red-lining, and maintaining weld equipment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Weld Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel using MiG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core techniques.
  • Read and red-line drawings to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components using various equipment, including CNC Fiber Lasers and tube lasers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.

Working ConditionsThe physical demands of this role include lifting and carrying at least 50-100 lb. net bags, boxes, and/or pallets for short distances. The work environment is fast-paced, with limited exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, and hazardous chemicals daily. May require safety equipment and/or precautions.
