Welder Fitter Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Welder Fitter to join our innovative team at Ameritex Machine and Fabrication in Conroe, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel using MiG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core processes.

The salary for this position is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel components using various techniques
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and quality
• Fabricate and assemble metal parts using sheet metal and structural fabrication equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
