We are seeking a highly skilled Reimbursement Analyst III to join our team at the HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION. As a key member of our Research, Development and Methodology (RDM) Team, you will be responsible for performing advanced rate analysis work on reimbursement payment rates for various Medicaid and non-Medicaid long-term care programs.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the development and implementation of policy and financial analysis to determine and evaluate payment rates for various long-term care programs and services.
- Develop and maintain rate methodologies and rate calculations, preparing ad hoc financial analyses and fiscal reports as needed.
- Contribute to cost reports and cost surveys to support rate methodology or programmatic changes.
- Interpret analysis results and develop recommendations for internal and external audiences.
- Oversee rate and rule adoption activities, including preparing memorandums and white papers for Executive Leadership.
- Develop and process policy documents relating to payment rate and methodology determination.
- Communicate and interface with internal and external parties to provide guidance and resolve problems concerning reimbursement rates or payments.
- Knowledge of Texas Medicaid reimbursement policy and rules is preferred.
- Knowledge of methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
