About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Solutions Expert to join our team at Cisco. As a key member of our Global Security Sales Organization, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Security Portfolio and protecting our customers' application environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Cisco security solutions and provide guidance to account teams in building solutions to address specific customer security needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and articulate Cisco's architecture and services within security technologies.
  • Create, present, and document technical solutions to customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Drive identified major account opportunities and allow local account teams to maintain long-term ownership.
  • Develop collateral for internal and external audiences, as well as industry publications, to showcase the capabilities of our integrated products.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of security specialization experience using Firewall, Content Security, Endpoint Protection, Threat Detection and Response, Access Control, Cloud Native Security, SIEM, or SOAR technologies.
  • Successful quota achievement.
  • Proven track record of managing and winning technical and high-value IT security projects.
  • Experience in administering low-layer IP networking and a thorough understanding of network security.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active TS security clearance, Public Trust, or the ability and willingness to obtain a US Government clearance.
  • BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
  • Ability to articulate security architecture integrated with other technologies (cloud, networking, datacenter).
  • Desirable experience with Cisco security technologies and administering Unix/Linux systems.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Unix Shell, Perl, or Powershell.
