Solano Land Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the natural resources of Solano County. We are seeking a highly skilled Land Trust Facilities Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The Land Trust Facilities Specialist will be responsible for maintaining all facilities, equipment, and trails on SLT lands. This includes performing weed control, maintaining trails and ranch roads, and installing irrigation systems.

  • Performs weed control using ride-on mower, weed eater, tractor mower, chain saw, manual removal, and herbicide application
  • Maintains trails, ranch roads, parking lots, trash receptacles, kiosks, levees, barbed wire, and wood fences
  • Installs and maintains irrigation systems
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in maintenance of electrical, mechanical, or other systems
  • Basic carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical skills
  • California Class C driver's license
  • Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions
