Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the move-in process to ensure a smooth transition for residents and their families.
  • Maintain model rooms for touring purposes and ensure unit availability at all times.
  • Communicate closely with the Director of Marketing and Leadership Team to ensure efficient decision-making about prospective move-ins.
  • Participate in daily morning meetings to alert staff members of projected move-ins.
  • Process, verify, and document all income and asset information for resident move-ins and annual recertifications.
  • Submit annual reports to relevant authorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education or previous experience in the healthcare field is desirable.
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to the needs of the aging.
  • Projects a confident, creditable professional image and communicates effectively with potential residents and family members.
  • Strong knowledge of reimbursement programs from payer sources and managed care referral processes.
  • Ability to understand advertising, collateral material design/layout/production is desirable.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance and be flexible in work time.
  • Established experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hold current compliance certifications with relevant authorities.
  • Proven, solid knowledge of various programs and ability to utilize a detail-oriented approach to compliance.
