Track Vehicle Mechanic

As a Track Vehicle Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on track vehicles and supervising activities that include fuel and electrical system repair.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair and maintain diesel power plants, compression ignition engine fuel systems, and compression ignition air induction systems
- Fix vehicle air cooling systems, vehicle liquid cooling systems, track hull electrical systems, and automatic transmission assemblies
- Service track vehicle cross drive transmission assemblies, transfer assemblies, and hydraulic brake systems
- Engine repair and tune-up or replacement
- Body repair and body panel replacement
Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career as a garage mechanic, carburetor mechanic, transmission mechanic, radiator mechanic, or construction equipment mechanic.

Requirements:
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
