Compensation and Benefits:

Job Description: As a Maintenance Engineer at the AC By Marriott Vancouver Waterfront, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality through preventative maintenance of rooms/suites. Your duties will include troubleshooting and repairing basic maintenance, electrical, technical, HVAC, and plumbing needs in rooms/suites, conducting regular inspections of plumbing and taking care of lighting needs. You will also ensure all appliances are working correctly and comply with hotel safety prevention rules and techniques.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; or one to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance skills, including carpentry, grouting, painting, caulking and blueprint reading
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Basic Math skills
  • Basic computer skills
