At NorthStar Home, we're looking for a highly skilled Alarm Automation Specialist to join our team on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in home security and automation installation.

Job Summary
  • Service residential accounts with Honeywell Lynx or Lyric systems, as well as Qolsys panels on the Alarm.com network.
  • Perform low voltage wiring and occasional new installations for customer moves or changes.
  • Update work order status through our web portal and submit accurate invoicing in a timely manner.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $85 per hour, plus 50 cents per mile. Our team is composed of experienced service technicians who are technically inclined, organized, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities
  • Service calls to customer homes for home security, alarm, and automation systems.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot home security and automation systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and update customer information as necessary.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in home security and automation installation.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of low voltage wiring.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
