Overview

Boudreau Pipeline Corporation is a leading pipeline company in Southern California, providing quality solutions and installations for wet utilities. We are seeking a Certified Electrician Foreman to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Certified Electrician Foreman to lead our electrical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with national, state, local electrical codes, and company policies.

Responsibilities
  • Control labor, material, supply, and equipment costs to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion of projects.
  • Ensure all work is done safely and to the highest quality standards.
  • Plan and coordinate electrical work, including layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
  • Supervise and direct electrical crew members, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, and correct the problem.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
  • Direct or train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment.
  • Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects.
Requirements
  • Current State of California General Electrician Certification.
  • A minimum of two to five years of experience working as an electrician on commercial or industrial projects.
  • Solid understanding of residential electrical codes and installation methods.
  • Ability to verify compliance and functionality of installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
Pay Range

$45.00/hr based on experience
