We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Advocate to join our team at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP). As a Youth Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering youth and families in our community.
Job Summary:The Youth Advocate will provide direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families, focusing on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model. This position requires a high level of dependability, commitment, and the ability to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.
Responsibilities:- Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- Develop and implement service plans based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.
- Provide support and guidance to youth and families, promoting their overall well-being and self-sufficiency.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
