Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Verovian. As a PICU Nurse, you will provide direct care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in pediatric critical care nursing will be invaluable in developing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and educating patients' families about their conditions and treatment options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in the pediatric intensive care unit.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medication, and perform advanced nursing procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:
  • A Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
  • Must have Passed the NCLEX-RN exam to become a licensed registered nurse (RN) or Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Specialized training or certification in pediatric critical care nursing.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
