Regional On-Road Fleet Maintenance Manager

Bronwick Recruiting and Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional On-Road Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our vehicles and equipment in a cost-efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and Coordinate Maintenance: Schedule preventative service and repairs with other departments as needed, and coordinate outside repairs and properly request POs and Capital expenditures.
- Lead the Maintenance Team: Communicate with the maintenance team, operators, and drivers about the current status of equipment being operated and repaired, and perform daily review of workload and provide guidance to supervisors where needed.
- Triage and Prioritize Work: Triage which work should be conducted in-house or sent for external repair, and monitor warranty process within shop to ensure maximum return.
- Conduct Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct quality control inspections to ensure proper repairs are made and units are road worthy, and conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure processes are being followed.
- Develop and Implement Solutions: Evaluate shop needs and develop solutions to meet KPIs, and update data base with current and accurate data.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Conduct daily safety meetings, track job-related training for staff members, and ensure all materials used have a MSDS on hand, that all MSDS books are current, and that all personnel are trained on how to use and read a MSDS.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to and enforce company rules, policies, and procedures.
- Experience: At least five years of shop experience and at least three years of maintenance supervisory or management experience.
- Skills: Experience performing maintenance on large fleets, ability to work with minimal oversight or supervision, demonstrated leadership skills, time management skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, and proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid Class C drivers license and safe driving record for the past three years.
- Bilingual: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Commercial Drivers License: Class B commercial drivers license (CDL).
- Safety Certifications: Safety or Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) certifications.
- Maintenance Management Certifications: Maintenance management or supervisory certifications.
- Computerized Maintenance Management Software: Proficiency with computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).
- Department of Transportation Inspector Certification: Department of Transportation (DOT) inspector certification.
- ASE or Dealer Certification: ASE or dealer certification with annual continuing education credits.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field.
- Hourly Rate: $30-35/hr.
