Position: Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist
Status: Part-Time, Weekend Shifts
As a key member of our Crisis Response Team, you will engage in critical assessments and provide immediate crisis intervention services. This role involves essential duties such as de-escalation, crisis planning, and the implementation of treatment strategies tailored to individuals in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively assess and communicate the needs of clients while facilitating referrals to internal and community resources.
- Act as a liaison among various stakeholders, including family members, friends, and community partners like law enforcement and emergency services.
- Provide education on available community resources related to mental health and substance use, as well as the services offered by our organization.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all interactions and interventions.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding confidentiality and the protection of health information.
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of one year of professional experience, preferably in a crisis setting.
- Current licensure in the state of Maryland (LMSW or LGPC) is required.
- A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance are necessary.
Preferred Credentials:
- Possession of LCSW-C or LCPC licensure is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $33.00-$35.00, commensurate with licensure and experience.
