Clinical Staff Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the 3rd floor Medical Surgical unit. As a Clinical Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Develop and maintain a therapeutic nurse-patient relationship, respecting patient rights and autonomy.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members using SBAR.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Collaborate with Care Managers to coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning.
- Assist with unit orientation and training of new employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care.
- Current California Nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certification in Progressive Critical Care Nursing or Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
