Clinical Staff Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Staff Nurse in our ICU Full Time Nights position. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized patient-centered care based on the Watson Model of Care.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process as a problem-solving model to anticipate and plan to meet patient and family needs.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to identify subtle changes in clinical situations and evaluate the plan of care.
- Develop and maintain a therapeutic nurse-patient relationship throughout the healthcare continuum, respecting patient rights and autonomy.
- Communicate effectively using the SBAR method in all hand-off situations.
- Perform documentation of patient care, including assessment, interdisciplinary plan of care, implementation, evaluation, and the Watson Model of Care.
- Anticipate variables affecting patient comfort and alter physical and psychosocial interventions accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with Care Managers to coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning.
- Review all orders on patients and communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and other team members.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent required; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in Critical Care nursing, with regard to regulatory guidelines and standard of practice.
- Current California Nursing license.
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
- Basic computer skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association.
- Current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
