Overview

Thompson Electric Inc. is looking for a dedicated Construction Financial Specialist to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of financial operations and demonstrate proficiency in a variety of accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client billings and subcontractor payments for designated projects.
  • Ensure the collection, documentation, and verification of all necessary lien waivers for ongoing projects.
  • Handle accounts receivable, including collections, payment postings, and account reconciliations.
  • Process all overhead and project-related invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.
  • Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice entry, account audits, and payment processing via various methods.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Financial Specialist.
  • Ability to adhere to specific deadlines.
  • Familiarity with fundamental bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Strong data entry capabilities, emphasizing accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility in handling diverse tasks.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Essential competencies include teamwork, initiative, reliability, and effective communication.

Job Type:

Compensation:
$50,000 - $60,000 annually
