Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pilot to join our elite team. As a Pilot, you will be responsible for transporting patients in critical care situations, requiring a high level of expertise, precision, and commitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and PHI Air Medical's safety protocols.
  • Transport patients in critical care situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
  • Participate in regular training and proficiency checks to maintain and enhance skills.
  • Adhere to PHI Air Medical's policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards.
Requirements
  • Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings
  • First Class Medical
  • CAMTS Requirement // 2,000 Total Hours // 1,500 Hours Helicopter // 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters // 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters // 100 Hours in Unaided Night Operations or 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
  • Candidates must meet 235 pounds body weight
  • Strong Communication, Internal and External Customer Service Skills
  • Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management
  • Must be able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, lift 100 pounds to assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment.), drug screening and background screen.
