Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pilot to join our elite team. As a Pilot, you will be responsible for transporting patients in critical care situations, requiring a high level of expertise, precision, and commitment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and PHI Air Medical's safety protocols.
- Transport patients in critical care situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
- Participate in regular training and proficiency checks to maintain and enhance skills.
- Adhere to PHI Air Medical's policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards.
- Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings
- First Class Medical
- CAMTS Requirement // 2,000 Total Hours // 1,500 Hours Helicopter // 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters // 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters // 100 Hours in Unaided Night Operations or 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
- Candidates must meet 235 pounds body weight
- Strong Communication, Internal and External Customer Service Skills
- Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management
- Must be able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, lift 100 pounds to assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment.), drug screening and background screen.
