Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Maintenance Specialist to enhance our team. This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of our facility through hands-on maintenance activities. The specialist will engage in tasks such as pump rebuilds, piping work, insulation, and preventative maintenance duties.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with potential for 1-3 hours of overtime daily as needed. Weekend work may be scheduled based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold Health and Safety standards by adhering to policies and procedures.
- Conduct maintenance tasks including pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, and basic electrical and piping installations.
- Perform essential repairs and upkeep in welding, electrical, pipe fitting, and mechanical areas.
- Assist senior maintenance personnel with complex maintenance projects.
- Operate forklifts as required and trained.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Manage supplies effectively and uphold best management practices.
- Adhere to all applicable company policies and procedures.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Basic skills in electrical, pipe fitting, mechanical, and/or welding are preferred.
- Previous experience in preventative maintenance or facility installations is advantageous.
- A background in industrial maintenance is highly desirable.
