Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, including developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS & ACLS certification
