Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Medical Surgical Registered Nurse RN to join our team. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will provide care to medical patients and complex care patients, assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care needs. You will also assist in rehabilitating patients to enable them to move to acute rehab or be discharged.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, collaborating with the healthcare team
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and goals
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Document patient information accurately and timely, adhering to hospital policies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
  • Current BLS & ACLS certification
