Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multimodality Technologist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare in a Level 2 Trauma Hospital setting. This full-time position involves working with X-Ray and CT modalities, ensuring high-quality imaging procedures are performed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures (X-Ray and CT) according to established protocols, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, using AIDET principles to ensure they understand the procedures and feel at ease.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, adjusting settings and positioning as needed to obtain the best possible images.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety, to protect patients and staff.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, reporting any issues to management and ensuring that all equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Keep accurate and timely records of all imaging procedures, including patient information, consent forms, and imaging data.
  • Serve as a preceptor to new team members, providing training and support as needed.
  • Be prepared to take call if required, responding promptly to urgent imaging needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Licensed by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT).
