Nebraska Medicine is seeking a skilled professional to join our Pharmacy Team as we look to fill a full-time position for a Critical Care Pharmacist specializing in nocturnal shifts. Candidates with prior PGY-2 training are highly preferred.

Role Responsibilities:
Deliver the highest standard of patient care. Oversee pharmacy services in the designated patient care area and ensure that all medication-related needs of patients and care providers are addressed. Actively engage as a member of the team(s) to guarantee the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care. Exhibit a commitment to ongoing quality improvement.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possession of a Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or the jurisdiction where pharmacy practice is conducted.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program, as appropriate for patient-facing roles and relevant to practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency is preferred.
  • Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice is preferred.
