Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team at Fairway Lawns in Nashville, TN. As a Pest Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers' property from pest, termite, and rodent problems.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers, a strong understanding of environmentally responsible pest and termite treatments, and a willingness to learn and expand their knowledge in our industry. In this role, you will be responsible for treating customer's outdoor and indoor areas, including crawl spaces and attics, for pest, termite, and rodent problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Treat customer's properties for pest, termite, and rodent problems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with customers in a professional manner about their services.
  • Make recommendations for customers' pest treatment solutions and plans.
  • Identify solutions for common and complex pest control issues and play an active role in implementing these solutions.
  • Use environmentally responsible pesticide products and follow proper application guidelines.
  • Drive an assigned route using a company vehicle.
  • Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and submit requests for routine maintenance to the fleet department.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in pest control preferred.
  • Prior experience running routes in a service-based industry is strongly preferred.
  • Tennessee-General Pest and Rodent Control (GRC) license with a certification in Category 7.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
  • Flexibility to work Saturday hours on an as-needed basis to meet production goals.

Estimated Salary: $16.00 – $22.00 per hour, including average monthly bonus and quarterly team bonus.
