We are seeking a qualified outpatient psychiatrist to become a core faculty member in a newly established psychiatry residency program.Ideal Candidates:
- Must possess Board Certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Tennessee medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- DEA registration with full prescriptive authority
- Research experience is a plus but not mandatory
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care
- Previous experience as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program or in graduate medical education administration is highly valued
- Engage in and instruct full-spectrum adult psychiatry with a focus on outpatient care
- Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to residents
- Act as an advisor and role model for trainees
- Conduct didactic sessions and contribute to curriculum development
- Dedication to educating psychiatric residents and influencing the future of the field
- Participate in Graduate Medical Education committees and faculty development initiatives
- Complete evaluations for residents and the program
