Job Summary

The McAlear Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Director to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the maintenance team, setting priorities and goals to achieve optimal performance.
  • Maintenance Planning and Execution: Develop and implement effective maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, including scheduling, performing, and overseeing preventative maintenance and repair activities.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and maintain spare parts inventory, monitoring procurement of maintenance-related materials, components, and services.
  • Team Development and Training: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to maintenance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree in engineering or industrial technologies, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Five plus years of maintenance experience, with three plus years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and proficiency in CMMS software.
