Deliver Exceptional Psychiatric Occupational Therapy Services

We are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join our Psychiatric team at University of Maryland Medical Center - Downtown Campus.

About the Role

As a Psychiatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with psychiatric conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote patient recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to patients with psychiatric conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and goals
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Maryland
  • 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a psychiatric setting
  • Knowledge of Psychiatry and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
