About the Role

The Solar Energy Sales Specialist is responsible for generating their own sales leads and conducting in-home presentations on our solar solutions. The primary goal is to establish a genuine connection with potential clients, assessing their needs and demonstrating how solar energy can be a sustainable option for their households.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective self-generated sales strategies to secure appointments with prospective clients.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from the initial contact through to the installation of the solar system.
  • Conduct in-home consultations, evaluating customer knowledge and needs while fostering long-term relationships.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to installation, ensuring follow-ups on all leads and consultations.
  • Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to accurately report on sales outcomes.
  • Achieve minimum sales targets as established by sales leadership.

Qualifications for Success

  • A minimum of one year of experience in sales or lead generation, preferably with in-home sales experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating across departments to meet customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel within the local market as required by business needs.
  • Comfortable using technology, including iPads and various software applications; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
