Position Overview

The Equipment Rental Consultant plays a vital role in our inside sales team, providing support to both telephone and walk-in customers seeking rentals of various types of construction and industrial equipment. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, focusing on understanding their equipment needs, negotiating terms, and processing orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to assess their equipment requirements.
  • Process rental orders and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain strong administrative skills to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid Driver's license is necessary.
  • Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience in the equipment rental industry is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient computer and administrative skills are required.
  • Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process is preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) may be beneficial in certain locations.

The physical demands of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting weights of 50 pounds or more, as well as working indoors and outdoors as necessary.
