Job Summary

Prisma Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using radionuclides. You will work under the direction of the Manager/In-Charge Technologist and Medical Director to perform a variety of technical procedures that require a high degree of independent judgment and initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of technical procedures using radionuclides for diagnosis and treatment of diseases
  • Work under the direction of the Manager/In-Charge Technologist and Medical Director
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and follow departmental protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and security during procedures
  • Perform quality control checks on instrumentation and radiopharmaceuticals
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
  • Provide education and training to students and new hires
Requirements
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry)
  • 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
