Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization. This is a part-time position, requiring availability to work every other Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical services under the supervision of a physician, promoting and maintaining patient health.
- Contribute to physician efficiency by identifying patient care issues and recommending options and courses of action.
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations, determining abnormal conditions and implementing physician directives.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including administering injections and immunizations, suturing, and managing wound infections.
- Provide community of care by developing and implementing patient-management plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Minimum one year of experience, 2000+ clinical hours, and experience in Occupational Health.
- Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant program.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Current California Physician Assistant License.
- National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
- DEA Registration Number.
- BCLS.
- CPR and AED Certified.
- Understanding of general medical and surgical conditions, universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA.
