About the Role

Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Merchandising Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our retail customers, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Merchandising: Execute commercial plans to customers on daily, pre-set routes, and generate sales orders based on delivery frequency to ensure day-to-day success and contribute to the company's financial performance.
  • Promotions and New Products: Execute applicable promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial plans to ensure excellence in RED scores for assigned customers.
  • Inventory Management: Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs, and organize and maintain back rooms by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions.
  • Market Intelligence: Identify and communicate any competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business, and execute all job duties in a safe working manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Education / GED
  • Driver's License: Valid instate driver's license
  • Insurance: Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage at no less than $50,000 per person/$100,000 accident insurance per occurrence/$50,000 property damage and $500 or less deductible effective from first day of employment
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, prior customer service experience in a retail setting, willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, critical thinking skills, and high initiative and willingness to learn.
