Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register for Asia, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on potential risks.
  • Collaborate with risk owners to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for high, medium, and low-risk items.
  • Work closely with IT Project Managers to identify and mitigate risks arising from projects, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
  • Support the Information Security function in implementing and mitigating cyber risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present risk reporting materials to the IT Risk Management Forum and Operational Risk Committees.
  • Perform internal control validations, highlighting exceptions for remediation and ensuring timely closure of audit points.
  • Track and monitor the status of controls, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide IT risk awareness training to employees, ensuring a culture of risk management within the organization.
  • Support IT teams in responding to external and internal audit queries, reviewing audit reports, and providing audit responses.

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of experience in Information Technology, Risk Governance, or Control, Security, or Audit-related functions.
  • Banking experience, preferably in Wealth Management, with a sound understanding of various business functions.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in IT delivery or implementation and a good understanding of system design.
  • Independent worker, team player, with preferred certification in CISSP or CISA.
