Job Title: Youth Residential Counselor

Arbor Circle is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Residential Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will provide quality, youth-centered care that facilitates a safe and successful trajectory for youth and young adults at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

Job Summary

As a Youth Residential Counselor, you will work closely with our team to provide crisis intervention, screening, assessment, counseling, and case management services. Your expertise will help our residents build purposeful and respectful relationships, rooted in trauma-informed care, hope, and evidence-based research.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to residents, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and community partners to ensure seamless transitions and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of empathy, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with children and families from diverse populations.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
