We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Mercy Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic examinations and therapeutic procedures utilizing radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of physicians licensed to possess and use radioactive materials. Maintain accurate documentation required by local, federal, and state regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of acute care experience.
- A current California Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (CT NMT) and CPR certification.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong computer skills and effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of workload assignments.
- The ability to read, write, and speak English.
- National Nuclear Medicine Registry with ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.
