Estimator for Masonry Construction

Per Sé Group is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team and contribute to the success of our client, a renowned construction company.

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our projects. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing proposals, construction plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, and time requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze proposals, construction plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, and time requirements
  • Identify and evaluate bid opportunities
  • Perform detailed takeoffs and site surveys
  • Calculate and analyze costs to ensure all requirements are met
  • Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, and negotiating prices

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience with commercial estimating and project management
  • Ability to prepare detailed narratives for estimates to convey the scope of work to the client
  • Experience with pre-bid review process and post-bid analysis
  • Primary contact for the client
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
