About the Role

Piedmont Advanced Therapy, LLC is a growing private practice seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with associated disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement therapy and treatment plans for speech disorders
  • Conduct standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients
  • Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
  • Update patient progress to relevant parties
  • Conduct research related to speech and language problems

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Knowledge of and experience with various communication disorders and their treatment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Experience in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy techniques
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the field
  • Continuing education and professional development in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
