Position Summary:
The Assistant Program Manager serves as a pivotal contributor in overseeing ship service contract initiatives. This role requires a thorough grasp of financial principles, business strategies, and contract oversight to facilitate the smooth execution of various projects. Working closely with the Program Manager, the individual will be responsible for maintaining control systems, formulating financial strategies, and assessing risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Primary Duties:
- Engage with a variety of stakeholders, clients, and suppliers on a regular basis.
- Assist in the development of precise quotations and guarantee their timely submission.
- Effectively manage contract orders and associated deliverables.
- Participate in discussions to resolve project-related challenges.
- Provide updates on project status and address client inquiries.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Background in government contracting and project management.
- PMP certification is advantageous.
- Knowledge of NAVSEA, ABS, and USCG regulations is beneficial.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
- Capability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
