About the Position

The Hope Services organization is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide 1:1 services to infants and toddlers with special needs in a mostly home-based program.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech pathology assessments of infants and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evaluation and treatment addressing speech and language developmental domains, as well as oral-motor assessment and therapy as indicated.
  • Present at scheduled IEPs and IFSPs, providing updated developmental information and establishing appropriate goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with physicians and outside agencies regarding developmental and health-related issues.
  • Act as consultant to other agency professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and developmental specialists.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • 1+ year of related experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Basic computer skills in word processing, ability to observe, evaluate, document, and communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to accept supervision and work cooperatively as a team member with coworkers, clients, and families.
