Responsibilities

  • Prepare the operating suite with sterile drapes, solutions, and instruments.
  • Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
  • Assist with patient preparation, transportation, and positioning.
  • Maintain instrument organization and track counts throughout procedures.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.
  • Surgical Tech certification from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
