Job Summary

CornerStone Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Support Specialist to join our team. As a Broker Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to Brokers and their clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure high-quality service is delivered to both agents and companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Brokers to provide superior support regarding all policies and key accounts.
  • Respond promptly to requests from the brokerage team, underwriters, or retailers regarding account servicing issues.
  • Interact regularly with clients and underwriters to discuss policies, recommend additional coverages as needed, and respond to queries and concerns.
  • Accurately and patiently explain coverages and liabilities to agents and/or clients.
  • Provide and/or assist with quotations for new business, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Develop a professional rapport with clients and underwriters to enhance new and ongoing business relationships.
  • Initiate and coordinate renewal activity on assigned accounts, as well as handle cancellation and non-renewal notices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and sales ideas through regular attendance of workshops, seminars, literature reviews, and/or formal continuing education.

Requirements:

  • One year of Wholesale Insurance experience required.
  • TX Insurance License.
  • Extensive knowledge of Insurance.
  • High School Diploma required.
